Welcome to my "playground".

Thanks for visiting my blog. I fell in love with cake decorating when I made my oldest son's bday cake for his 2nd birthday. (the Elmo cake below)-that was back in 2005. Through lots of trial & error, not to mention plenty of practice, I've continue to improve my cake decorating skills. Cake decorating is a wonderful stress reliever for me and I enjoy it greatly. **I do not use boxed cake mix nor canned frosting.** Only scratch will do for me! I take great pride in my work. I make cakes for almost all occasions. Break free from the " cookie cutter cakes" you can buy from the grocery store bakery. I specialize in 3/4 and all frosting cakes. Prefer to only use fondant for accents only. Let me help you make your event even more special.

Pictured below (and in the folders on the right that are archived) are some of the cakes I've made. If you are in the Ft. Hood/Copperas Cove/Killeen/Harker Heights and surrounding area, feel free to contact me if you need a cake made.

Please provide the following info: when you will need the cake, how many servings you need and what kind of cake you may be interested in (favorite characters, hobbies, colors..etc anything you would want to be incorporated with the design of your cake, so I may work up a quote for you. Please provide a one week notice for cake orders, or a "rush" charge will be added. Look forward to hearing from you soon! :-)

Let's gooooooooo fishin'!

Here's another cake I've been hoping the chance would come up that I could make this cake. Everything is buttercream frosting, with the exception of the water (blue tinted piping gel) and a actual bobber and real fishing line. I really like how this one turned out!

Spiderman! Spiderman!

I've been dying to try to make a cake like this for the longest time! I'm so glad that I finally did! Everything is buttercream frosting, with the exception of Spiderman. This was a really tall cake! 3 really thick layers, definitely would feed a crowd! LOL

Die hard Steelers fan and Apache Longbow pilot

This cake was for a gentleman who not only is a die hard Steelers fan, but is also an Apache Longbow pilot. Everything (including the artwork)is all buttercream frosting. Traditional chocolate marble cake. I really like how it turned out!

Thank you cake...

A thank you cake for a local business that has helped out an organization that I volunteer for. They did a wonderful job on a sign I have on my back window on my car. Chocolate buttercream frosting, chocolate marble cake made using white cake, instead of the usual-yellow.
