Welcome to my "playground".

Thanks for visiting my blog. I fell in love with cake decorating when I made my oldest son's bday cake for his 2nd birthday. (the Elmo cake below)-that was back in 2005. Through lots of trial & error, not to mention plenty of practice, I've continue to improve my cake decorating skills. Cake decorating is a wonderful stress reliever for me and I enjoy it greatly. **I do not use boxed cake mix nor canned frosting.** Only scratch will do for me! I take great pride in my work. I make cakes for almost all occasions. Break free from the " cookie cutter cakes" you can buy from the grocery store bakery. I specialize in 3/4 and all frosting cakes. Prefer to only use fondant for accents only. Let me help you make your event even more special.

For more information and pricing about my cakes, you may contact me via email at:

Pictured below (and in the folders on the right that are archived) are some of the cakes I've made. If you are in the Ft. Hood/Copperas Cove/Killeen/Harker Heights and surrounding area, feel free to contact me if you need a cake made.

Please provide the following info: when you will need the cake, how many servings you need and what kind of cake you may be interested in (favorite characters, hobbies, colors..etc anything you would want to be incorporated with the design of your cake, so I may work up a quote for you. Please provide a one week notice for cake orders, or a "rush" charge will be added. Look forward to hearing from you soon! :-)

My final cakes in WA.

This is my final cakes that I will make in WA. The movers are packing us up on Tuesday. Going to seem like the longest time, till I will be able to bake again. Between the actual move and the unpacking, hope my down time from baking is only minimal.

All buttercream. Red velvet cake, edible blue sparkles & edible silver minature stars, with whipped cream frosting.

Need a pair of scissors?

This was a cake I made for our barber. She's been cutting my boys hair ever since we arrived in WA 3 1/2 years ago. She has became part of our "extended family". We sure are going to miss her.

A new twist to my norm buttercream frosting...

Made an early bday cake for a very sweet lady at church. She said her favorite flavor of cake is coconut. So not only is the cake coconut flavored but made coconut flavored buttercream frosting. Let me tell you, I'm not a huge fan of coconut, but this tasted heavenly. Yum!!!
